Corn Chowder Soup Recipe Ingredients

* 1 pound bulk pork sausage
* 1 cup coarsely chopped onion
* 4 cups cubed peeled potatoes (1/2-inch cubes)
* 2 cups water
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
* 1/8 teaspoon pepper
* 1 (15.25 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
* 1 (14.75 ounce) can cream-style corn
* 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk

CORN CHOWDER SOUP RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

1. First of all in a Dutch oven or soup kettle, cook sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the potatoes, water, salt, marjoram and pepper.
2. And then bring to a boil. Next is to reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are just tender. Add the corn, cream -style corn and milk; heat through....enjoy the corn chowder with sausage  !

Ingredients

* 2 cups water
* 2 cups diced peeled potatoes
* 1/2 cup sliced carrots
* 1/2 cup sliced celery
* 1/4 cup chopped onion
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
* 1/4 cup butter or margarine
* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 2 cups milk
* 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
* 2 (14.75 ounce) cans cream-style corn

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place water in a 2-qt. microwave-safe dish; cover and heat until boiling. Add potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper. Cook, uncovered, on high for 8-10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender; set aside (do not drain).
2. Meanwhile, in a 3-qt. dish, microwave butter on high for 50-60 seconds or until melted. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Cook, uncovered, on high for 6-7 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 2 minutes. Add the cheese. Heat for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Stir in the corn and reserved vegetables. Cook on high for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.

1. In a large saucepan, combine the first five ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until vegetables are tender (do not drain).
2. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth; gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir into the vegetable mixture. Add corn and Parmesan cheese. Cook 10 minutes longer or until heated through.

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 (17 oz.) can corn

  • 2 thick slices bacon, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 c. coarsely chopped onions

  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
  • Few grains of pepper
  • 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn
  • 2 c. milk
INSTRUCTIONS
In a heavy, 4-quart saucepan cook bacon until crisp (moderate heat). Pour off and discard all but 1 tablespoon fat. Add onions, red pepper and seasonings. Cook 10 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally, until onion and pepper are tender. Add corn and milk, bring to a boil and simmer 15 minutes. Discard bay leaf before serving.
